Tax Credit Extended

First time home buyers will have an additional 3 months to qualify for the tax credit of up to $8500. offered by the federal government. Originally, the buyer must have a contract in place by April 30th and close by June 30th. But the Senate and House have approved an extension of the closing date and President Obama is expected to sign off on the legislation.
