Boise area home sales were up dramatically in April with 659 homes sales during the month. That’s an increase of over 36% from April 2009. Although most of the homes sold were existing homes, new construction came through with some strong numbers also – 98 newly constructed homes sold during April.
Year over year the numbers are much better also – 1860 homes sold so far in 2010 compared to 1303 homes in 2009.

Boise
North – 26 homes with a median price of $197,000
Northeast – 7 homes with a median price of $275,000
Southeast – 54 homes with a median price of $162,500
Bench – 35 homes with a median price of $115,000
South – 25 homes with a median price of $179,900
Southwest – 68 homes with a median price of $136,990
West – 34 homes with a median price of $123,500
West/Garden City – 78 homes with a median price of $145,000
Garden City – 1 homes with a median price of $105,900
Northwest – 36 homes with a median price of $153,000
Meridian
SE Meridian – 22 homes with a median price of $179,000
SW Meridian – 9 homes with a median price of $199,900
NE Meridian – 47 homes with a median price of $167,000
NW Meridian – 84 homes with a median price of $157,500
Eagle – 56 homes with a median price of $253,000
Star – 18 homes with a median price of $161,615
Kuna – 59 homes with a median price of $120,100
