Another booming month for real estate sales in the Boise area. Total sales were 350 homes – up from 279 in January 2010. Last year only 272 homes sold in February. Of the homes that sold in February, 296 were existing homes and 54 were new construction.
Active residential listings were up 1.5% from January to 3038 homes for sale in the Boise area.

Here’s the sales numbers broken down by area:

Boise

North – 13 homes with a median price of $205,000
Northeast – 5 homes with a median price of $308,000
Southeast – 43 homes with a median price of $169,000
Bench – 15 homes with a median price of $128,000
South – 11 homes with a median price of $200,000
Southwest – 25 homes with a median price of $168,000
West – 12 homes with a median price of $121,950
West/Garden City – 42 homes with a median price of $151,000
Garden City – 0 homes with a median price of $0
Northwest – 18 homes with a median price of $203,650

Meridian

SE Meridian – 12 homes with a median price of $160,000
SW Meridian – 3 homes with a median price of $314,000
NE Meridian – 39 homes with a median price of $163,500
NW Meridian – 52 homes with a median price of $150,000

Eagle – 26 homes with a median price of $340,000

Star – 12 homes with a median price of $167,052

Kuna – 22 homes with a median price of $129,990
