Boise Real Estate Sales – October 2009

More good news in residential real estate in the Boise area. Home sales in the Boise area continue to trend upward with 585 homes sold in October, up 6.7% over September’s numbers. Active listings are down to 3236 in Ada County which includes the Boise area.

With the extension of the $8000. first time home buyer tax credit plus the addition of the $6500. tax credit for current home owners, the sales numbers should continue to trend upward through the end of the year and possibly into 2010.

Southeast – 47 homes with a median price of $180,000
Bench – 33 homes with a median price of $137,900
South – 20 homes with a median price of $145,917
Southwest – 77 homes with a median price of $154,700
West – 20 homes with a median price of $139,000
West/Garden City – 38 homes with a median price of $160,000
Garden City – 1 homes with a median price of $145,500
Northwest – 25 homes with a median price of $205,000

Meridian

SE Meridian – 28 homes with a median price of $178,000
SW Meridian – 1 homes with a median price of $276,670
NE Meridian – 57 homes with a median price of $142,000
NW Meridian – 81 homes with a median price of $159,000

Eagle – 31 homes with a median price of $261,900

Star – 14 homes with a median price of $185,000

Kuna – 66 homes with a median price of $126,823
