Home sales in Ada County remain strong in the month of August with 511 homes selling during the month – just above the 510 homes that sold during the month of July. More good news. The number of active listings in Ada County dropped about 7% from 3,790 in July to 3,537 in August. And still more good news. The median price of homes increased in all areas except North, Northeast, and Southeast Boise and Northwest and Northeast Meridian.

Northeast – 6 homes with a median price of $333,200
Southeast – 49 homes with a median price of $216,000
Bench – 40 homes with a median price of $132,500
South – 14 homes with a median price of $162,000
Southwest – 51 homes with a median price of $170,000
West – 11 homes with a median price of $163,400
West/Garden City – 31 homes with a median price of $190,000
Garden City – 3 homes with a median price of $219,000
Northwest – 26 homes with a median price of $175,500
Meridian
SE Meridian – 25 homes with a median price of $199,770
SW Meridian – 6 homes with a median price of $295,000
NE Meridian – 51 homes with a median price of $155,000
NW Meridian – 94 homes with a median price of $159,900
Eagle – 23 homes with a median price of $300,000
Star – 11 homes with a median price of $239,900
Kuna – 38 homes with a median price of $129,000
