Seems like it’s been a long time since we’ve seen many HUD foreclosures available in the Boise area. Used to be that the “flippers” and investors snatched them up before the homes ever made the HUD foreclosure website.

However, with the number of foreclosures that are happening in Idaho, HUD was bound to get their share and their website is becoming a great place to find exceptional values – not only for investors and flippers but also for first time home buyers.

HUD is currently offering foreclosed homes with FHA-backed financing for only $100. down. Plus they’re offering up to 3% of the purchase price to be paid toward the buyer’s closing costs. These homes are available through HUD’s online auction program and require the services of a Realtor that is approved to sell HUD foreclosures.
