I was browsing through the local newspaper last Sunday and ran across an ad that I felt was worth writing about. The City of Boise through its Housing & Community Development Division is offering low interest (3%) home improvement loans to residents of Boise. To qualify:

• your home must be within the city limits of Boise
• you must reside in the home
• you must meet the current income guidelines

These loans can be used to replace a furnace, windows or a roof or to add insulation among other home improvement projects. For more information about this program, visit the City of Boise website or call 208.384.4158.
